This building surveying role is with the UK arm of a leading Global Construction & Property Consultancy. Priding themselves on their strong relationships with some of the best known brands in the world which have spanned over 50 years in some cases.

Remaining proudly independent the business is able to provide simple impartial expertise to all manner of clients, across public and private sectors, across multiple professional disciplines.

Due to business growth and an increasing workload, the business is now looking for a chartered building surveyor to their team, adding to several recruits who have joined in the past year.

The position

Your role as a chartered building surveyor will be based in London's West End, but initially working remotely, you will be part of a growing team of 8 building surveyors serving commercial clients on a mixture of technical matters and project work. Instructions will include:

• Technical Due Diligence
• Dilapidations
• Disputes Resolution
• Expert witness work
• Contract Administration & Project Management

The requirements

For this Chartered Building Surveying rolre you will need to be a fully qualified member of the RICS with a minimum of 3 years of building surveying experience including a year post qualification ideally.

You will need to have prior experience working for a private consultancy as a building surveyor, preferably with exposure to dilapidations work and contract administration / project management.

You will need to be a strong written and verbal communicator, with excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to manage multiple instructions simultaneously.
