Working for a Consultancy supporting in the delivery of project across the Healthcare sector, responsible from inception to completion. Projects varying in size from 1 to several hundred £million.
A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy
Working in the Healthcare sector (public and private) across the full lifecycle of a project.
Estimating and cost planning
Procurement and Tendering, and dealing with Variance post contract.
Valuations, checking cost and ensuring accuracy
Negotiate/Manage final accounts
Working with stakeholders internally and externally including the client and other consultants, supporting the project delivery.
Ideally Degree qualified in a related subject, and ideally MRICS
Awareness of construction cost matters such as value engineering.
Experience in Healthcare, notable estate management or healthcare planning projects.
P21+/P22 cost advisor roles is essential
Strong negotiation skills and working on Tender agreements
Excellent knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
Experience in Healthcare client facing roles
Able to display understanding of risks and challenges associated with Public Sector Healthcare projects.
