Development Manager - Client Side

FTSE 250 REIT within the Healthcare industry in need of a Development Manager due to increased workload.

Your new company
FTSE 250 company specialising in primary healthcare assets across the UK and Ireland. The REIT has 510 properties under management, valued at £2.5bn, with an annual rent roll of £131 million. They are seeing huge expansion in recent months and are always committed to the highest level of service for their clients and stakeholders.

Your new role
You will be working in the Development team and reporting to the Head of Development facilitating further growth of the Development function across the UK. In this fast-moving working environment, you will be progressing existing projects through the NHS approvals process and on to legal close and construction, as well as managing financial aspects of projects and delivering internal and external Board papers.

In this varied client side role, you will play a part in developing new builds from the planning process to practical completion, through preparing case documents, development appraisals, financial analyses and negotiating Heads of Terms.

What you'll need to succeed

• MRICS with 2 - 5 years PQE preferred
• Excellent people skills
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders with differing agendas
• A self-starter with tenacity and drive
• Commercial assessment of opportunity at every stage of the development process
• Detailed and accurate reporting
• Previous commercial development and investment experience is desirable

What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will earn £45,000 and upwards depending on experience.
