Our Client: Independent multi-disciplinary consultancy who have offices throughout the UK working with clients in both the public and private sectors.

Projects: Local Authority, Commercial, Education, Residential and Retail

Company Headcount: 2000 - 2500

Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor:

A relevant construction qualification and/or working towards professional membership of recognised institutions ie. CIOB or RICSA good working knowledge of current construction contracts, particularly NEC3 or NEC4Involvement on commissions/projects as lead QS or NEC PMExperience of both pre-and post-contract quantity surveying responsibilities, and be able to deliver this service effectively to clientsExperience using the Method of Measurement for Highways WorkUnderstanding of the principles of the Manual of Contract Documents for Highways WorkExperience of risk management principles for highways projects using QCRAExperience of both public and private sector clientsExperience in working on projects within the highways/infrastructure sectorsThe ability to manage a project throughout its lifecycleAbility to form effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
