A busy local Authority have a need for an Asset Manager to head up their commercial property services department.
The Role will be varied and involve:
The training of graduate surveyors and Advising them on the appropriate manner to deal with problems arising with the serving of notices, negotiating leases and rent reviews, alteration consents, collecting arrears etc…
Valuation of Council property for a wide range of purposes including insurance, fixed asset register, feasibility studies, options appraisals, acquisition and disposal and letting purposes.
Managing a diverse range of commercial investment property to maximise rental income and investment value. Ensuring that rent reviews and lease renewals are implemented and carried out in professional manner.
Provide professional estate management assistance concerning the Council’s operational premises and in meeting the accommodation needs of individual service functions of the Council by adopting and applying the relevant and appropriate criteria to meet objectives.
Support other service functions within the Council in the delivery of projects involving property
