PROPERTY SERVICES MANAGER
Ref : MPE01
Based at the Civic Centre, Arnold
Band 12: £42,821 - £44,863
This is an exciting time for Gedling Borough Council; we have a new Chief Executive Officer and dedicated Senior Leadership Team committed to drive change.
You will join our small and dynamic property team reporting to the Head of Service for Regeneration & Welfare. If you are an experienced property manager this is an excellent opportunity for you to refine your skills within a local authority. We have identified this post as a key role going forward as part of our refreshed corporate plan to prepare and implement a borough wide asset management plan.
You must be able to demonstrate substantial experience of working within an Estates/ Property environment. You will hold a professional membership and have a degree in an appropriate discipline. We would prefer you to also be a RICS registered valuer with senior management experience. You will be supported by, and working with, a great team of people who share the same ambition that you do - to make a success of things.
Our office is based in a parkland setting with good public transport links and free parking. We operate flexible working schemes and would be happy to talk to you about any particular working arrangements or preferences that you have.
We offer excellent working conditions including a generous holiday entitlement, comprehensive pension scheme and access to an Employee Assistance Programme providing advice on a range of issues including financial and legal matters and offering discounts on purchases from numerous retail outlets.
We are an inclusive workforce of around 500 people; we hope you like the sound of what we have to offer and will be keen to join us.
For an informal discussion about what the job can offer contact Joelle Davies, Head of Regeneration and Welfare on 07970 275200.
Closing date for completed applications is 8 March 2021.
