You will be working with an excellent property management organisation. Your new role

As a building manager you will be overseeing the day to day of a commercial building in the centre of Bristol. You will be managing prime multi-let office building comprising of office accommodation arranged over ground and five upper floors. You will oversee the effective management of property and services team, including reception, security and onsite M&E engineer. The property is undergoing a large M&E replacement project, this includes a number of smaller projects that will require assisting through to completion. You will be involved in high levels of Client Engagement and Customer service. As well as liaising contractors, security staff, maintenance and cleaners as well as 3rd party contractors whilst having due regard to expenditure and current legislation. Key Performance Areas you will be managed on are: Service Delivery, Client / Tenant Relationship, Reporting and Control, Responsiveness and Problem Solving, People Management and Development (including service providers) and Values and Behaviour.


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need a broad understanding on facilities management both in hard and soft services. You will also need Health, Safety and Environmental Management - ensuring all legal requirements and the requirements of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are met, advising Client and occupiers as appropriate. To be successful it will also be essential you can demonstrate budget setting and management, occupier management, ability to manage contractors to ensure PPM works and reactive maintenance are carried out and a broad understanding of building regulations and knowledge.
