Project Delivery Officer required to deliver a series of strategic housing projects across Somerset

Your new company
As a Project Delivery Officer you will join a public sector organisation based in the Somerset region who are looking to deliver a wide range of housing and community led projects as a reaction to the Hinkley Point C project in the region.

Your new role
Your role will be varied, fast paced and positively challenging. You will join your new employer in a critical role which will involve contract and funding management, developing tools used to capture risk, providing support to the communities located next to the Hinkley Point C Project, maintaining excellent working relationships with building contractors and troubleshooting issues.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position you should have transferable skills within partnership working, contracts management, project management or project coordination. Ideally you will have a background or experience in housing delivery, community or social projects.

What you'll get in return
In return you'll receive a full-time contract position with duration of 18 months initially, however this is likely to further extend or could progress into a permanent position. You'll have an option to be paid a salary working directly for our client, or to work on an hourly rate through Hays - please apply now to discuss further.
