Working for an independent multi-disciplinary consultancy and public sector specialists with offices throughout the UK, you will be joining the London office as an intermediate - senior building surveyor focusing on surveys, contract administration and project management on public sector projects throughout Greater London.

- Property types: Schools, offices, warehouse / depots, housing, recreational facilities
You will be responsible for pre and post contract work with key clients across London, managing 2-3 projects simultaneously from client brief to handover, providing designs and specifications, project tendering and contract administration, and project management until final handover with client.
The London office has secure framework agreements with several local authorities in London, along with on secure contracts with a range of housing associations and councils ensuring a stable workload
Along with a competitive salary for your experience level (£40-45K for an intermediate building surveyor) your new employer will be focused on your development, helping you to become fully independent, whilst providing support and advice when needed.

The business is moving to a new London office which will be used in the event that you wish to work from the office. Otherwise the company operate on a fully remote / flexible basis giving you control of your work day
You will be enrolled on a private company pension with a minim contribution of 8% (5% employee-3% employer).
You will also be provided with 25 days of annual leave with 8 bank holidays in addition.
The requirements for an intermediate building surveyor at this business will include the following:
A degree level qualification in Building Surveying - for example, BSc, MSc, HNC, HND or PG Dip in Building Surveying or Building Surveying
A minimum of 2 years experience working as a Building Surveyor for a Building Consultancy
Experience leading projects of £500k + in value, from client brief through to final handover
Strong AutoCAD and design skills, experience providing floorplans / layouts for fit-out projects.
A full and valid UK Driver's License, preferably with access to a vehicle
