Following the retirement of one of the businesses directors, and the subsequent promotion of their direct report, this leading commercial property company is now looking to offer a job to a commercially astute building surveyor with experience advising on office and retail property for the benefit of lenders, investors and occupiers.
Joining a department of 30, and a team of 10 surveyors made up of graduates, chartered, senior and associate surveyors, you will provide services to either occupiers or landlords on everything from acquisitions, dilapidations, resintatement cost assessments and party wall matters, as well as providing contract administration, project management and fund monitoring support on a variety of fit-out, refurbishment, development and reinstatemt work.
With a flexible approach to this recruitment drive, this client is open to speaking to building surveyors from newly qualified up to Associate Director level, provided they possess significant commercial building surveying experience.
If you are successful in securing this job, and in return for your commitment to the role of building surveyor, you will as expected receive a competitive salary, from £40K at newly qualified level, to £60K as a Senior Building Surveyor.

In order to perform in this building surveyor job, you will need the following:
A relevant degree level qualification in building surveying
A minimum of 2 years experience above graduate or assistant building surveyor level.
Strong client facing skills, with the confidence to chair meetings, manage expectations, and manage negotiations
Strong report writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
A driven and committed attitude to your work, professional development and your team
You will also need recent, relevant commercial building surveying experience, specifically in dilapidations and technical due diligence.
A full and valid driver's license will be required for this role.
