Development Manager - £85,000 - £110,000 plus package and bonus

Our client is a Student Accommodation developer with assets across the UK. Due to significant growth they require a Development Manager to lead projects from inputting into appraisals though to final completion and handover.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide early stage advice as to cost, time and practicalities for new projects 
  • Actively input to the process to obtain consents, structure deals, review costs and returns
  • Build and maintain cost plans for projects, modelling cash flows (including financing costs) tailored to each project and deal structure
  • Build and lead external teams, where required, to deliver all stages of projects
  • Organise and lead the process to obtain all necessary internal stakeholder consents
  • Lead continual improvement in quality and cost with respect to design and delivery
  • Pro-actively manage project risks
  • Ensure information flows are maintained, with regular reporting to senior management and liaison with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of contract and construction methodologies
