Hays are pleased to be working in partnership with a niche consultancy based in historic market town of Bury St Edmund's who are looking to recruit a graduate / APC surveyor to join their growing team. This consultancy have formed well established relationships with various housing associations and local authorities working on large development sites.

Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity for an APC Surveyor to become a Registered Valuer to gain further experience.As the valuation surveyor your role will be to assist the existing team in managing and processing valuations for Residential Development with a particular focus on Affordable Housing.

What you'll need to succeed
As the valuation surveyor you will need to be or willing to work towards a the Valuation Pathway with proven experience in residential valuations. You will need to be able to display a high degree of accuracy in both valuations and proofreading own reports. You will need to be computer literate with Mac Computers specially Microsoft Word and Excel.

You will be entitled to 30 days annual leave not including bank holidays, no overtime strictly 9-5 with early finishes on Friday and a relaxed working environment. You will be entitled to a 4% pension contribution which increases each year of service up to 10%.
