Director - Valuations

Small firm of Chartered Surveyors looking for AD/Director to join London Valuations team.

Your new company
Our client is a publicly listed firm of Chartered Surveyors based in London that provides Asset and Fund Management, Co-investment, Property Valuation and Ratings services to a fantastic client base of high-net worth organisations. The company is extremely well respected by the City and is in an excellent position at the moment, ready to expand the Valuations team and break into new areas of the market going forward.

Your new role
You will be joining as a senior member of the Valuations team to not only carry out commercial valuation reports, but to help manage the team and spearhead the process of expansion.

You will have a hands-on role within the team, earning fees through valuations of all asset types (retail, office, industrial, leisure, etc.) for a range of purposes. These assets range from individual properties of <£10 million to portfolio valuations of over £200 million for high street lenders and on behalf of high-net worth companies in all industries.

You will also be managing the current team of four Valuation Surveyors as well as leading the expansion process. This will involve proactive business development, liaising with potential clients and building strategies for future growth, and will include being involved in the hiring process for future talent.

What you'll need to succeed

• MRICS Qualified
• RICS Registered Valuer with experience using Argus software
• People management experience
• Excellent communication and business development skills
• Ideally good contacts within the banking world

What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will earn £65,000 - £85,000 depending on experience and existing client base + benefits
