Maintenance Officer

A Maintenance Officer job, based in Glasgow, initially for 3 months but with a high chance of extension.


Your new company

Our Client, a Public Sector organisation in the Glasgow region, require an experienced Maintenance Officer to join their high performing maintenance team as lockdown is relaxed. You will work as part of the client's in-house team which oversees all aspects of response and planned maintenance programmes, capital works and statutory compliance.

Your new role
You will be an integral member of the team, assisting with the planned and reactive maintenance works programme, reviewing maintenance compliance and assisting with capital projects planning and delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you should have previous experience in a comparable Maintenance or Property Officer role, with specific knowledge of overseeing all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance as outlined above.

A competitive hourly rate is available, alongside an initial 3 month contract that has a high chance of extension. This role is fairly rare in current market as the client is keen to secure their chosen candidate promptly and start them in the role as soon as lockdown eases. This is in contract to many other public sector organisations who are not as proactive and risk missing out on the strongest talent.
