Senior Project Manager - Residental sector

THE ROLE

My client, a large firm of construction and engineering consultants seeks a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER to join them in LONDON to work on a range of high value construction projects in the Residential sector.

You will work on projects in the residential sector including affordable housing and large private developments.

You will carry out the full range of project management duties from feasibility through project delivery.

As a Senior Project Manager you will lead on some projects or work closely with an Associate or Director on very large projects.

THE CLIENT

My client is a successful international firm of construction and engineering consultants and this role is in their team that provides cost management and project management across a wide range of sectors.

Their project management team is highly successful working with a good range of clients in both private and public sectors.

Clients are very varied.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have a BSc or BSc Hons or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or another construction / built environment subject.

Ideally you will be qualified with MRICS / MAPM / RIBA / CIOB or similar.

You must be able to manage all aspects of the projects, engaging with the client and also the construction and design team to move the project forward on time.

You should have experience of working on large scale residential developments and for multiple tenure types including affordable housing.

You will need to have extensively used JCT contracts and have good contract administration experience.

You will need experience of setting up project management processes and be able to produce reports.

You will need to have a stable work record with known firms.
