Quantity Surveyor - Berlin

THE ROLE

I am seeking Quantity Surveyors at all levels for a firm of PQS in Berlin. German is not required if you are keen to learn.

You will need a Degree in Quantity Surveying and if you are at senior level you are likely to also be MRICS qualified.

You will do both pre contract and post contract work so a background in private practice quantity surveying is required.

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects including offices, hotels, residential and retail for fit out, refurbishment and new build.

You will work closely with clients, contractors etc. on high value projects from inception and feasibility stage to project delivery.

THE COMPANY

My client is a successful firm of construction consultants.

They work on projects for German and international clients for projects in Berlin and elsewhere in Germany.

They provide both cost management and project management services.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Quantity Surveyor with some experience (or more) working for a firm of PQS in the UK, in Europe, South Africa or elsewhere.

You will need to have a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying. At senior level you are likely to be MRICS qualified.

You will work closely with the project manager and a senior Q.S. taking charge of all cost management, budgets, contracts management, and more.

Good English is essential - both written and spoken and if you do not speak any German then you must be keen to learn.

Excellent prospects for ambitious candidates to work closely with clients and the professional teams.

Salary is likely to be in the region of Euro 40000 to 75000 per annum or more for the right person.
