Your new company
I am looking for an experienced Director of Property to join my large public sector client in Reading. This is an interim cover with the possibility to go permanent for the right candidate.

Your new role

My client has a large and complex property portfolio and you will be involved in the the strategic management of the investment estate which has over 380 lettings including commercial, resi, retail, industrial, research labs etc.
As well as dealing with L&T matters, acquisitions, and dilaps, and property management, you will also have an oversight of the reactive and planned maintenance and FM so will need a good knowledge of H&S, FM, and managing annual maintenance budgets. Liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders and third parties, you will have excellent communication skills and negotiating powers.

What you'll need to succeed
You MUST be a chartered surveyor MRICS preferably from a General Practice background with a commercially astute character. A registered Valuer would be a big benefit as the role involves valuations. You will have experience in working with a mixed discipline team in a managerial role at a senior level. You will have a vehicle and clean license to allow for travel between local sites.
