Senor/Associate Rural Surveyor - Gloucestershire

My clients are a well-respected regional firm of property consultants that have offices based throughout Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Warwickshire and further afield.

I am instructed to recruit a rural surveyor for their office in Gloucestershire. On a day to day basis you will be involved in predominantly valuation and rural professional work. You will primarily be dealing with Red Book RICS valuations for country houses, cottages, land, barns, farms and estates for a wide range of purposes including tax, bank security and litigation.

In addition, you would be involved in an interesting variety of professional work, such as farm and residential tenancies, grazing licences, environmental schemes, Basic Payment Scheme applications, planning, and wayleaves and easements. There will be the chance for you to develop new clients and create new work opportunities in areas that suit your interests and strengths.

Candidates will be RICS qualified with a minimum of 4 years PQE experience although candidates with less experience will be considered. This role will be joining an existing team that are well known in the property market and you will be joining a team that can offer support, career progression and an interesting and diverse mix of work and clients.

The successful candidate will be confident, ambitious and resourceful with the ability to communicate clearly and to work both independently and as part of a team. We are seeking a candidate who is market aware, commercially astute, technically proficient with excellent attention to detail.
