This is a newly created role - with re-opening set for June 2021, it is now important to get the right individual appointed as Head of Estate to look after the present and future objectives of this Theatrical Trust.

My client are one of the most incredible live performance spaces in the world, operating from an iconic Grade II Listed building in London.
Description
This is a newly created role - with re-opening set for June 2021, it is now important to get the right individual appointed as Head of Estate to look after the present and future objectives of this Theatrical Trust. This includes:
- Influencing and managing an overall estate strategy with sustainability in mind (for which the business plan is currently in development). The Estate features an eclectic mix of old, new and industrial buildings. The key focuses include:
- Estate protection and future proofing in line with business objectives to support more young people and adults:
- Protecting the future of their beautiful and historic Grade II Listed Building.
- Overseeing operations of multi-storey shipping containers, which include office and storage facilities.
- Acting as the client-side Project Manager overseeing construction of the new, complimentary campus.
- Managing reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Managing an FM team
- Overseeing House Keeping
- Managing inspections/compliance to include:
- Water risk assessments
- Fire risk management and preventative strategy/safety measures
- Implementing and managing KPI's and service level agreements
- Managing contractors
- Environmental sustainability - as a Charity focused on bettering the futures of young people, environment is also at the heart of this: They want to do their bit in protecting the environment for generations to come. It will be the responsibility of the Head of Estate to integrate sustainability measures into the overall estate strategy, driving this through to make them a reality.

Profile
The successful Head of Estate will first and foremost be passionate about the Arts and supporting young people to flourish and be their best selves. Other important criteria include:
- Leadership quality - It is vital the successful candidate can communicate the future vision and strategy, gaining buy-in from stakeholders to get what needs to be done, done.
- Management experience - Direct and in-direct.
- Experience in a similar role with a demonstrable track record.
Job Offer
£50,000 - £60,000 basic salary
