We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player preferably with some previous management experience, either RICS qualified or studying towards a full qualification.
The role is to provide a proactive responsibility for the delivery of the planned maintenance projects through the use of external Contractors, to control the costs through valuations and Final Accounts based on agreed schedules of rates.
The post holder will also be involved in the tender process when the current contracts come to an end.
The successful candidate will manage a team of 4 property surveyors and 1 assistant property surveyor to assist in the delivery of the programme.
- Demonstratable experience of working in housing maintenance sector and contract management
-Part qualified and willingness to work towards achieving RICS
-Educated to degree level in a construction related discipline
- Experience of working in planned maintenance and strong awareness of asset management.
