Carriera are seeking a chartered building surveyor with experience in fire related matters, to join a very successful consultancy in the North of England.
Our client provides building consultancy and FM services across the UK, operating in the corporate, healthcare, education, retail & leisure, local authority & central government sectors. They also have a number of contacts within the conservation space and work with a number of institutional investors, banks, and developers.
The head of building consultancy is looking for chartered building surveyor who is happy to work from home and travel across the North of England. The work will be a mix of project and professional work ranging from surveys, through to dilapidations, license to alteration, contract administration to name a few. Types of properties will be a mix of residential and commercial.
They have had great success in recent months and have secured a number of sensational clients within the fire cladding space. This is due to their specialist fire compartmentation department, who work in conjunction with the building surveyors. They are actually only one of just a handful who have been granted this work due their insurance. One contract alone is generating circa £100,000 in fees monthly (Maybe more).
This being said, they are ideally looking for somebody who is MRICS who has experience in fire related matters. This isn’t a must but is desirable. Whether that be fire risk assessments, refurbishments of external cladding, or fire door replacements, we would like to hear from you.
In return the business will provide you with all of the tools and support needed to work from home, as well as a solid basic salary up to £60,000 plus pension, car allowance, healthcare and more.
