The Commercial Manager will be responsible for taking the lead with regards to the commercial aspect of the day to day estate operations and associated capital projects works.

Description

The role of the Commercial Manager will be to take the commercial lead on operational estates activity and associated capital works projects which will include managing a small team.

You will be responsible for supporting the successful tending of services and projects contracts and ensuring that tenders are accurately presented with all relevant KPIs and SLAs collated from the estates function.

You will be heavily involved in the capital projects works across the organisation to ensure that all commercial risk is minimised whilst also ensuring the best possible commercial return from all contracted services associated with these projects.

Profile

To be considered for this position, applicants are expected to have a degree within a built environment (i.e. Quantity Surveying) as well as professional membership such as RICS.

You will need to demonstrate experience of having managed an operational budget of at least £20m and have significant experience of working with capital projects teams. You will also need to be able to demonstrate having lead and resolving contractual and commercial disputes.

As you will be responsible for managing a small team it is also anticipated that applicants will have direct line management experience too.

Job Offer

A salary of £52,000 - £59,000 is on offer as well an exceptional benefits package.
