Building Surveyor - 18 month FTC

Building Surveyor with experience of dilapidation and pre-acquisition experience

Your new company

You will be working for a large healthcare brand who have over 1400 properties in the UK. They are a global brand are are a listed business on the stock exchange. They have strong customer and service values. To support their Property department, they are looking to hire a Building Surveyor on an 18 month fixed term contract basis.

Your new role

You will be working on a mixed portfolio of retail spaces in both the high street, but also inside healthcare premises such as NHS property and other private healthcare.

You will carrying out building surveying duties to sites

Key duties:

• project management
• contract administration
• dilapidation surveys
• pre-acquisition surveys
• general maintenance etc.
• specify works required
• obtain tenders
• manage works on site
• looking at all pre and post contract duties.
• inspect vacant residential and commercial units at termination of tenancy
• provide general property related advise to other companies within the group
• support to maintenance help desk

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a qualified Building Surveyor but you don't need to be chartered. The is a great opportunity to work for a large healthcare brand with an interesting mix of buildings and some long term work.
