Chartered Building Surveyor – London / Essex

My client is a small but successful, fully independent Building Surveying private practice with offices in Central London and Essex.

Their Building Surveying workload is entirely privately instructed and mostly residential with limited commercial, focusing on general professional matters including Building Surveys, Party Wall Matters (where experience allows), Homebuyers Reports (non-lender) and some Project Work (Residential extensions, conversions etc.)

As a result of workload (and pipeline new business) an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor is now required to join their friendly professional team.

Suitable Chartered Building Surveyors will hold MRICS qualification ideally but AssocRICS may be acceptable subject to extensive broad Building Surveying experience.

The successful Building Surveyor will work alongside the principles dealing with wide ranging matters from pre-purchase residential inspections/surveys to residential conversions, extensions and alterations.

Ideally the suitable Chartered Building Surveyor will come from a stable career background with a preference for private residential work, although our client does service commercial clients to a lesser degree.

Working from EITHER an Essex OR Central London office (or a combination of both if preferred) the successful Chartered Building Surveyor will enjoy remuneration comprising a basic salary up to £60k, bonuses (5% of any new business), RICS/CPD fees paid, mileage allowance and pension.
