Commercial Property Surveyor

Your new company
An East London Local Authority is looking for a Commercial Property Senior Surveyor to work across the 200 unit Retail portfolio, reporting into the Principal Estates Surveyor.

Your new role
You will lead on rent reviews & lease renewals with all retail occupiers and be the key point of contact between community and council for all property management matters across the retail portfolio. You will have a good commercial acumen but a key eye for the importance of balance between bottom-line and community. This role will require you to be proactive to ensure maximum revenue is generated through the estate, dealing with voids, disposals and a range of asset management responsibilities. Leading on negotiating and agreeing lease terms and rents with community groups as well as playing a key role in contributing to the Corporate Property Strategy.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be MRICS with a substantial track record in Commercial Property Management. Prior experience working within a local authority would also be preferred but not essential, as is retail experience.
