Divisional Valuer

You will have experience of working in an Assessor’s office, or similar environment, and will be responsible for the supervision and training of technical staff, undertaking the survey and valuation of properties for the purposes of compiling and maintaining the Valuation Roll and the Council Tax Valuation List. The role will involve being the Service lead on particular property categories including the survey and valuation of more complex or unusual categories of property within the area.
MRICS qualified, you will be experienced in the valuation of commercial or non-domestic property, have a practical working knowledge of the legislation and case law governing Council Tax and Non-Domestic rating and knowledge of Data Protection Principles.
You will have a structured approach to your CPD requirements and obligations, have experience of working as part of a team and be able to demonstrate your ability to schedule workloads, adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
