Job Details

Macdonald & Company are working with a Retail and F&B, specialist advisory firm in Hertfordshire, who are looking for a Graduate Property Manager to join the team. The business have an established and highly successful practice of Chartered Surveyors and the role will include the management of new and existing portfolio's from major motorway services areas and shopping centres to smaller commercial properties located throughout the UK.

Responsibilities:
  • Analysing and carrying out due diligence of commercial leases and occupancy agreements
  • Data entry of lease information into the property and project management software
  • Creation of service charge budgets and management of expenditure reconciliation
  • Reporting on key lease events, such as reviews, breaks and expires
  • Carrying out property inspections
  • Meeting with and providing advice to clients
  • Responding in a timely manner to tenant enquiries

Key Knowledge and Experience:
  • A RICS Accredited Degree
  • Knowledge of and ability to read and understand commercial leases, training will also be provided
  • An understanding of the Health & Safety requirements for commercial property
  • Familiarisation with the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954
  • Attention to detail
  • Be able to communicate effectively with the team, clients and tenants
