A chartered building surveyor is needed to help deliver investment lead surveying services for a well regarded property consultancy in the City of London.The firm provides a full range of Building Surveying services, from acquisition surveys, contract administration, defect diagnosis, dilapidation negotiation, project management and Loan Monitoring services. They work with Landlords and Occupiers, from Banks, Developers, Institutions and High Net worth Private Clients. Their London office is an impressive flagship for the business, the building consultancy team is diverse in its service offering and the building surveying team is small but very high yielding. This team is lead by one of the industries most admired and caring professionals; he harbours excellent professionals who have a passion for their work and creates an excellent moral.The role is focused on the transaction side of the industry and as such demands a building surveyor who enjoys their survey work but the opportunity also requires a rounded professional with dilapidations, fire risk assessments, part wall instructions and project work experience. It is essential that you have the ability and desire to deliver a diverse workload, have a desire to network and win business, as well as the career aims to become a Dirtector.The individual will come from a commercial background, will be professional, well grounded, technically competent and have a charismatic personality. It is essential you are Chartered, that you are looking to take on responsibility and have a willingness to be in a client facing role. Experience within Commercial Survey work is essential.In return you will be well paid, given full support to help develop and grow, as well as a very clear bonus structure that is purely based on personal performance with the ability to earn up to 50% of what you bill above a certain threshold.
