Our client has sustained a well-respected reputation within the public & private sectors, delivering a wide variety of services ranging from building surveying, through to project management, FM and design.
The opportunity has come about in their Surrey office due to several successful bids sufficing within the public sector. As a result, they are now looking to introduce an associate chartered building surveyor to help deliver, grow and become a key appointment in the service line.
You will report directly to the lead, assisting with business strategies, financial management, technical management, marketing and on leading projects in the private and public space. This opportunity is about building relationships and ensuring that the highest standards of advice are being provided, within a timely and cost-efficient manner. You will be responsible for managing a team comprised of talented senior and graduate surveyors, delivering project and professional services to public sector housing clients, industrial, commercial private clients.
This is a crucial appointment for the business, as this plays an instrumental part in their 2-year growth strategy. They must find the right person, who has a proven track record, working with local authorities, housing associations, as well as managing framework appointments.
You will be able to display good technical knowledge of project and professional services, and will have administered refurbishments and new builds, acting as either contract administrator or employers agent. via your standard forms of JCT or other forms such as NEC or PPC.
