This role is a Client Side Senior Project Manager to work on an amazing variety of project work within the central London zone from commercial and retail refurbishments £1m -25m to demolition and new build of listed buildings with stunning facades on new bond street, this opportunity is perfect for someone who would like to move from a consultancy into a client organisation, who wants the challenge and stimulation of an overseeing role and is ready to step into a slightly different type of position.

This Senior Project Manager who ideally was a building surveyor or an engineer, therefore understands buildings and how they technically are put together so even if they haven't new build experience this would allow someone who has majority of refurb and CAT A fit out the ability to diversify that experience into new build experience.

The purpose of this role is to manage projects from RIBA stages 0-7 but instead of reporting to an external client as you would working for a consultancy it's having the confidence and gravitas to report upwards to the internal board of directors on how the projects are running

Person Specifications:

• Chartered Membership recognised professional body i.e. RICS, RIBA, CIBSE, IOB, ICE or I StrucE.
• Practitioner level membership of APM
• Demonstrable experience of working at a Senior Principal level.

Experience:

• Significant experience of managing external contractors, consultants, and specialists.
• Significant experience of managing internal staff teams.
• Significant experience of leading on and managing multi-million construction projects.
• Experience of presenting contentious and subjective reports to stakeholders concerning project strategy, programmes, budgets and outputs.
• Experience of negotiating with outside agencies, including solicitors, contractors and multi-disciplinary consultants and other stakeholders on project strategy, programmes, budgets and outputs.
• Experience of Negotiating and agreeing the scope, deliverables and timings on major initiatives.
