Client Details

This UK based property investment and development company possesses significant property / regeneration expertise and are primarily focused on delivering value for their customers, partners and shareholders. This specific team are currently implementing the regional strategy for the acquisition / development / disposal or transfer of schemes to support the targeted growth of the business.

Currently looking to recruit a Development Manager to manage and support with the identification, securing of and management of development opportunities, or phases of a development, in line with regional and business strategy. The successful candidate will be working with the planning team and external consultants to identify new large-scale development opportunities along with active involvement on two large scale residential led mixed-use development in the greater London region.

Description

    To manage the development of site(s) (or phases) to the agreed programme and business plan. Working alongside the planning team to liaise with external bodies to achieve planning permission. To manage the appraisals, valuations, budgets and cash flow processes for assigned developments in line with business authorisation levels and in partnership with the finance team. To manage multi-disciplined external project teams and work collaboratively with internal project team members on the delivery of large-scale multi-phased developments Working alongside the planning team to liaise with external bodies to achieve planning permission. Generation of development brief. Liaison with Construction team and monitoring of construction processes, checking for compliance with business case.

Profile

The successful candidate will be RICS qualified and possess 5+ years' of experience in the residential development sector. A track record in delivery of relevant development opportunities and successfully negotiating and managing all aspects of the acquisition, development, leasing and disposal process is required along with a sound technical understanding of the development process.
