SEL CCG – Strategic and Operations Estates Director

NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is a clinically led organisation responsible for planning, buying and monitoring healthcare services to the 1.9 million residents in the boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. We are also part of the south east London Integrated Care System (ICS) bringing together six local authorities, five NHS trusts and our CCG to help shape the future of the NHS of south east London. Our greatest priority is to ensure that we provide the highest possible standard of care and improve health outcomes for local people.

The Strategic and Operations Estates Director will be a senior member of the CCG management team, holding responsibility for the strategic and operational requirements of the estates function across south east London. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for the reviewal of the local CCG estates strategy and the development and implementation of the transformational objectives of estates programmes, with a particular focus on ensuring all plans are robust and deliverable.

This is an ideal role for an individual with strategic healthcare property and financial expertise, sound analytical skills and an innovative and ‘can do’ approach to solving problems. The successful candidate will be a values-driven and politically astute leader committed to partnership working and passionate about the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda. Importantly, too, you will have a good track record of managing people, experience successfully delivering change programmes across organisational boundaries and have excellent influencing and negotiation skills.

We strongly encourage applications from all sections of the community, particularly from under-represented groups, including disabled people and members of our black, Asian and minority ethnic communities to improve the diversity of experience in our organisation.
