SEL ICS – ICS Estates Programme Director

The South East London Integrated Care System (SEL ICS) is a partnership of health and social care organisations with an ambition to deliver a clinically and financially sustainable health and care system for the future, taking collective action to improve outcomes and address health inequalities for the 1.9 million people who live in south east London. We are pursuing our vision by adopting a population health management approach and taking action at different geographical levels – very locally in our neighbourhoods, in each borough, and across south east London. We operate as a ‘System of Systems’, bringing partners together to take action at the optimal scale to effect change.

The ICS Estates Programme Director will be a senior member of the SEL ICS programme, supporting the development and implementation of the transformational objectives of estates programmes that feature as part of the partners’ long-term plan. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring transformation plans are financially robust and deliverable, with a requirement to get full partnership buy in to proposed changes to the utilisation of the estate across south east London.

This is an ideal role for an individual with strategic healthcare expertise, sound financial and analytical skills and an innovative and ‘can do’ approach to solving problems. The successful candidate will be a values-driven and politically astute leader committed to partnership working and passionate about the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda. Importantly, too, you will have a good track record of managing the expectations of multiple stakeholders while identifying robust savings plans in a challenged financial environment.

We strongly encourage applications from all sections of the community, particularly from under-represented groups, including disabled people and members of our black, Asian and minority ethnic communities to improve the diversity of experience in our organisation.

For a confidential conversation about this role, please contact Brendan Davies at our executive search partner, Hunter Healthcare, at bdavies@hunter-healthcare.com or on 07585356985.

The closing date for this post is 23 May 2021.
