Due to extensive growth, we are expanding our governance team to support spans of control and we are keen to see applications for our newly created Environment and Sustainability Manager role. The successful applicant will be the client facing representative for e.surv and will act as an advisory service to external clients and internal stakeholders.
The Environment and Sustainability Manager will report to the Head of Technical Surveying and be responsible for:
Regular contact with SMT to ensure the company’s Environmental and Sustainable strategy is at the forefront of the industry Industry interrogation to ascertain client needs, competitor offerings, and identify individual risks Regular reviews with Proposition Director to ensure delivery of Green products Monitoring and reacting to industry news Play an active part at Industry forums – attendance and presenting Creating regular guidance to internal stakeholders and external clients covering a range of current and emerging issues relating to residential survey and valuation within the Green Agenda. Deliver presentations at meetings on a range of issues relating to the Green Agenda
Minimum MRICS qualified, but AssocRICS with suitable experience may be considered Knowledge of current and emerging trends within the Green Agenda A full understanding of green homes grants Knowledge of green mortgages and barriers to market Knowledge of Future Homes Standard Proven experience of assessing technical information in order to present robust business recommendations Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, to prepare and present online webinars and at events/conferences/workshops Proven self-starter – this role requires someone who will bring forward proposals, solutions, and ideas
This is a remote based role, with regular national travel including to our Head Office in Kettering when required.
