Chartered Building Surveyor

Our client is a well regarded medium sized player, who are forward thinking, relaxed, and embrace change and development. They are currently seeking a senior building surveyor who has experience in working with private clients and is seeking greater project exposure as well as responsibility.

Delivering services across office, retail, industrial, education and also estates. The business provides a peripheral of building surveying services ranging from project management through to dilapidations, pre-acquisition surveys, party wall matters and more.

The London office is made up of chartered building surveyors, project managers, CAD technicians and support staff. All employees work closely with the directors, promoting togetherness and cooperation, which in turn allows staff to gain greater exposure and practical knowledge in aid of their professional development.

The role requires you to take ownership of some key projects and clients, delivering projects that could range from a few hundred thousand up to £20m. The workload will be project bias and will require somebody who has strong project management / contract administration experience, who is also competent within both areas of dilapidations and surveys. You will feel comfortable in working autonomously and will have motivation to help grow the service line.

The successful chartered building surveyor will be a member of the RICS, client facing and business minded. It is important that you have a demonstrable track record in delivering project and professional services and are capable from taking projects from the design phases to completion.

In return you will receive a basic salary up to £65,000, bonus that pays typically pays around 20%, pension, healthcare and much more.
