I am currently recruiting for an Interim Client Side Project Manager for a nine month contract with a public sector organisation in the Gloucester area.

This role will see you be the intelligent PM, managing both the internal and external stakeholders on around £25M worth of projects in a year period.

This role is inside of IR35.

My client is a public sector organisation in the Gloucester area. They have confirmed and guaranteed funding for their projects.

Description

The key responsibilities would involve managing multiple large scale construction projects from cradle to grave.

Defining the brief with the internal stakeholders. Ensuring that the project fits into the master plan of the council.

Then procuring via a competitive tender a construction partner.

Then monitoring and managing the contractors.

Profile

The background of the Interim Project Manager does not matter.

It is essential that the PM has a technical degree in construction and would ideally have NEBOSH and / or Prince 2.

This person would need to be comfortable managing large projects in a live environment.

We need someone who is comfortable communicating and challenging internal and external stakeholders to help build into the vision of the council.

We need someone who is technically excellent within the parameters of construction.

The candidate would need to be able to commute to Gloucester five days a week if required.
