Hays are delighted to be working with a fantastic charitable foundation who have been supporting families and local communities for the past five years since they were setup. This This is an opportunity for a commercial property surveyor to join one of the largest grant-making charities in the country who hold enabling opportunity, healthcare, education, and well-being at the forefront of their vision. This is a client-side job opportunity for a commercial property asset management to join the in-house estate team to assist with the management of properties valued in excess of c.£75m.
Your new role
Property Asset Manager - MRICS (Desirable not essential)
The main purpose of this role is to proactively manage the property portfolio to its best use, monitor and implement programmes and increase asset value and revenue. The technical responsibilities of the role will include day to day property & asset management of the London & Hertfordshire portfolio negotiating key lease events, development projects, rent collections, leasing and property compliance. The charity also holds strategic development land which is currently under review to establish the best use and development feasibility.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be MRICS Qualified however this is not essential, the foundation is looking for a surveyor with c.5-6 years of relevant real estate experience. This exciting career opportunity is suitable for a commercial general practice surveyor who is looking for a rounded and varied client-side role working within a small team to develop the estate.
