Senior/Associate Surveyor - Agency

Independent Central London property consultancy looking for Surveyor in Retail and Development Agency Team.

Your new role
You will be joining the company's London Retail and Development Agency team advising on the acquisition, disposal, development and asset management issues on all types of property throughout the UK. You will be advising clients directly on a variety of agency fields including (but not restricted to) lettings, lease sales, freehold disposals (with or without vacant possession), lease acquisitions, development appraisals and consultancy.

Your day to day responsibilities will cover general agency duties (property inspections, research, reporting, lease disposals, lease acquisitions, sales, etc.) as well as a range of development/investment responsibilities such as carrying out appraisals, Consultancy Report research, tenant demand analysis and site/investment identification for clients.

You will also be heavily involved in developing existing client relationships and generating new business through active business development. Much of your role will involve you carefully considering opportunities for cross-selling to other departments (e.g. rent reviews, rating, management etc.) as your team will be working very closely with all areas of the business.

What you'll need to succeed

• MRICS Qualified, ideally with 3-4+ years' PQE
• Agency experience, ideally with a retail/trade centre bias
• Outgoing, driven and enthusiastic personality
• Knowledge and experience of lettings, disposal and acquisitions processes
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence

What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will earn around £55,000 (depending on experience) + £6k car allowance + a discretionary bonus.
