Hays have been retained by Bailey Partnership who are seeking a number of experienced Building Surveyors who will play an integral role in leading on EWS1 Building Safety Fund work across the South of the UK. Your role will involve undertaking building surveys which will enable building owners to confirm that an external wall system on residential buildings has been assessed for combustibility and spread of flame – you do not need to be a fire specialist however will have excellent building pathology and building technology knowledge. This is an opportunity for you to become the qualified professional completing an EWS1 form valid for 5 years, for any building.

You’ll be an excellent fit for this position if you can meet the following criteria:

  • Professional membership with RICS, CIOB, RIBA or similar
  • Excellent building pathology or building technology knowledge
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

You may also have some experience or knowledge of fire safety in buildings, EWS1 training or cladding, however this is not essential to be considered for this position.
