As part of the Commercial Audit team and using your skills and expertise, we will be performing commercial contract audits, to deliver sustainable economic value and benefits to the business.

Salary: £39,021 + Pension + 25 days holiday

Location: Working from home during Covid & thereafter Bradford with flexible/remote working arrangements

Purpose of The Role:

Utilise your experience as a Quantity Surveyor on whole contracts within this new high performance team, where you can add real value.

To undertake forensic contract reviews to provide assurance on commercial arrangements to ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively to demonstrate compliance to deliver maximum value for money and minimise risk exposure for Kelda.  This includes the following:

•           Undertaking forensic contract reviews on commercial contracts to assess compliance with commercial arrangements, with a view of identifying financial wastage and improvement areas;

•           Undertake Vendor Analysis to identify exception

•           Undertake trend spotting with our commercial supply chain arrangements with a view of identifying financial and commercial opportunities

•           Variance and exception reporting

•           Supply Chain Process Mapping & Value Chain Analysis

Key Accountabilities:

•           Undertake in-depth analytics, identifying relationships/patterns in complex data sets to develop insights and make recommendations to decision makers.

•           To support the Senior Management Team in defining metrics, data and reporting requirements in support of the business and performance management processes.

•           Implementing robust controls to govern the procure to pay processes.

•           To support the business performance review process by tracking and analysing readiness and performance against the business targets.

•           Undertake forensic analysis of accounts, payments and billing to ensure compliance and governance.

What Do We Need:

Essential:

•           Qualified to at least Degree Level, preferably in Quantity Surveying or similar

•           Experience of researching and analysing complex information and processes.

•           Experience of quantity surveying.

•           Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

•           Ability to develop and work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience of undertaking forensic contract reviews on commercial contracts to assess compliance
