Chartered Building Surveyor (Client Side)

This client organisation owns and develops a property portfolio that is made up of commercial, residential and retail assets. The diverse portfolio is all located within a short walk of the offices, offering an interesting array of buildings and challenges.

The business was established in trust of looking after and developing the family portfolio, of which there are now many beneficiaries. It now employs near 100 staff, has a small building and projects team, with its leader sitting on the board. The level of tenure and time served by the team, as well as greater business, in this day and age is seriously impressive and is testament to how they are looked after and reward by the owners of the business.

Your duties will be focused on professional services, looking at Landlord & Tenant engagement, with a particular focus on licenses to alter, monitoring and lease exit.

You will be a chartered building surveyor; your experience will come from private practice or a client organisation. It is essential that you are used to managing your own workload, working within and contributing to a team environment.  You will be used to using Microsoft Office, in particular word and excel.

In return you will receive a solid basic salary with benefits including Benefits: Pension- 10% non-contributory, Healthcare – Family, Life Assurance – 3 x salary, Holiday – 25 days plus Christmas shut down, Bonus – 8 – 10% of salary, Professional fees.
