Due to a transformational restructure of the Corporate Property Business Unit, a number of exciting and new positions have been created.

The business unit team work to ensure the active management of the districts’ commercial built estate by providing an “in house” property maintenance and facilities management service, building services and caretaking operations at Castle House, the Newark Beacon and the Buttermarket Shopping Centre, along with the management of design and building commercially led property contracts relating to Council property.

New opportunities are being created with the award of the towns fund grant funding of £25 million along with many other transformational estate projects on the horizon for this forward thinking and commercially active district council.

Salary: £58,949 - £62,290 per annum

Strategic lead in the delivery of Capital estate real projects across the whole of the Council. Ensuring the delivery of commercial estate projects to the agreed, brief standard, quality and budget. This post is “politically restricted” as defined in Section 2(1g) of the 1989 Local Government and Housing Act.
