Job Details

Macdonald & Company are working with a leading Real Estate advisory business, which specialises in many elements of Commercial and Residential Property. There are 2 roles on offer in both Brighton and Eastbourne, to join the Residential Block Management Team and cover a portfolio across East Sussex. Both of these appointments are due to growth and expansion and will report directly into clients and the Head of the South Coast Block Management division. 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide management services on the portfolio in accordance with statue, RICS and ARMA codes of practice, the lease terms and management agreement
  • Oversee, maintain and enhance fee income levels across the portfolio
  • Health & Safety in respect of the portfolio you are allocated and make appropriate recommendations to clients
  • Ensure compliance with the service charge provisions of leases
  • Produce draft service charge budgets for client approval
  • General Property Management advice and Landlord & Tenant Act advice
  • Compliance with Section 20 procedures and co-ordination of major works
  • Supervision of on-site staff
  • Liaise with service providers, including utility provides as well as accountant and solicitors
 
Experience:
  • A minimum of 4 years in residential block management
  • IRPM qualification desirable
  • Well organised, communicative and personable
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients and tenants
  • Working knowledge of Qube is preferred
