The Company
Beach Baker is instructed by a highly established firm of Chartered Surveyors located in Cornwall. The practice value and survey some of the most prestigious waterside and country house residential stock the county has to offer.
The company specialises in valuation work for a number of major institutions and banks as well as niche lenders and private clients. They also receive instructions from many of the county's leading solicitors and accountants.
The Role
Your principal role will be a Residential Surveyor and Valuer combined with contributing to the continued growth of the firm. We are seeking a Senior Surveyor who is RICS qualified and a RICS registered Valuer with a minimum of 12 months mortgage valuation, or HomeBuyers Survey experience.
The role will involve the preparation of reports for clients in accordance with RICS Red Book to best practice industry standards.
The requirement is for an experienced Chartered Surveyor to join the team and help grow this fantastic regional business.
The successful candidate will need to be committed to providing the highest level of service to clients and also commitment to increase business by marketing and building relationships with new sources of work via other professionals such as solicitors, estate agents and via social media etc.
For the right person the firm can potentially offer progression to Directorship level.
Skills /Qualifications Required:
- Member of RICS - 1+ years PQE
- RICS Registered Valuer
- Mortgage valuation and HomeBuyer Survey experience.
- Excellent communication, outgoing personality, adaptable team player.
- Attention to detail, sense of humour,
- Commercially minded, astute and efficient.
