I am seeking a Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager to join my client, a large and respected construction consultants in their Leeds office.
You will work on complex building construction projects for commercial offices, residential, universities, retail and regeneration sectors.
You will work on the full run of project management duties from inception to project delivery supporting a Lead Project Manager.
The role will be on building construction projects working on the whole project lifecycle from inception through to project delivery.
My client is a large firm of construction consultants with offices across the UK and abroad.
You will be a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager who has a BSc or MSc in a Built Environment subject e.g. Quantity Surveying, Civil / Structural Engineering, Construction Project Management, Architecture or similar subject.
You may be working towards Chartered status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or equivalent or you may be recently chartered.
You should be working for another firm of construction consultants or working on construction projects 'client-side'.
You will have some experience working in project management on construction projects.
Knowledge of HSE issues.
Ideally you should have some experience in the use of JCT Contract Administration and / or NEC 3/4 Contract Administration.
You will need some experience of dealing with the day to day tasks of construction project management.
You will ideally have some experience of writing formal reports and documents.
Salary is negotiable according to your experience around the £30000 level plus RICS fees, pension, health insurance and other benefits.
