Job Overview:

We are seeking a Project Manager to join the well established City based project management team . The successful and profitable team is 8 strong and specialises in the project management of refurbishments and fit outs for developer, investor, landlord and end user occupier clients. Typical project sizes range from £1m to £20m in value. The team is an integral part of the wider London Project Management service line which is made up of twenty one project managers in three teams.

Projects have included high profile fit outs and refurbishments have included work on a variety of mixed use commercial buildings including projects where we have constructed new cores from the foundation up and added new floors.

Opportunities will also be available within the wider London Project Management offer to undertake project management instructions in other market sectors including hotels, education and healthcare. The existing team is made up of three Directors, one Associate Director, three Associates and one project manager / surveyor. This role has excellent prospects for career progression.

Main Duties:

Support our Director led project delivery philosophy and assist in the day to day running of multiple projects
* Contribute to client pitches, business development, strategy and presentations
* Seek and integrate inputs from other divisions within the business to best service the client and assist in delivery of the project
* Build strong working relationships with existing clients and other service providers
* Help to source and secure new clients
* Utilising internal interdepartmental contacts identify potential new instructions and identify opportunities for cross selling across the business
* Attend internal and external networking events to enhance market presence


You will Ideally have:

* Professional qualification, preferably RICS
* Other project management, engineering or architectural qualifications will also be considered
* Exceptional track record delivering successful projects across a broad range and size
* Strong commercial acumen
* Ideally experience delivering projects in commercial office sector
* Experience of pitching and winning new business instructions
* Team and people management experience
* High attention to detail, well organised with good initiative
* Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
* A team player
* A desire to progress and generate new business
* Strategic approach to problem solving
* Highly motivated, proactive and a 'can do' attitude
