Job Details

As Project Manager you will be working alongside a Development Manager on every assigned scheme; from post-acquisition through to planning, main contractor tendering and selection and managing the construction delivery through to handover.

Client Details

Our client is a well established property developer specialising in urban logistics and industrial warehousing sectors across the UK. Due to an increasing pipeline they are currently looking to hire an experienced Project Manager who can demonstrate previous experience in delivering multi-unit industrial projects.

Description


Assist in due diligence of site acquisitions including arranging appropriate site surveys and investigations. Advise on findings on surveys/investigations.

Assist in preparation of initial development appraisal.

Lead team of external consultants to prepare, submit, obtain and discharge planning and other necessary consents.

Prepare Employers Requirements. Lead team of external consultants to prepare tender drawings and specifications.

Formulate tender documents, tender and evaluate tender returns.

Administration of Contracts.

Assist in negotiation and implementation of Agreement for Leases, Agreement for Sales or Development Agreements.

Management of the external team of advisors and contractors to ensure all objectives are achieved and risk is appropriately offset.

Maintain an up to date knowledge of relevant legal issues and statutory obligations.

Ensure that all projects are delivered in a safe and efficient manner.

Ensure that all projects are delivered within the guidelines set out in the Company's Health & Safety and Environmental Policies.


Ensure we are appropriately maximising value and minimising risk in all our transactions regarding building, technical, construction, services, environmental and insurance issues.

Profile

In order to be considered you need to have previously worked in the industrial/warehousing sector from a construction project management experience. As a Project Manager you will need to have an excellent understanding of the development process and construction methods and have strong negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills.

You will have ideally worked for another Industrial Developer or have worked as a PM for a Building Consultancy on industrial schemes across the UK.

MRICS or MCIOB qualifications are a plus.
