Project Manager - Property Company - Derbyshire

There’s a hidden gem in Derbyshire; a mixed-use development with bags of character over 74 acres of stunning farmland for beautiful walks, with a myriad of shops, restaurants, bars and attractions, all nestled around the largest inland marina in Europe.
Mercia Marina has been going since 2008 and has some impressive growth plans to build on the existing highly-successful development, and they’d like you to be a part of it.
They are recruiting for someone to take ownership of the day-to-day management of a new retail/restaurant/residential project now in planning stages, along with other projects, with full budgetary responsibility. It would also be your role to look at opportunities for expansion into new land and other business opportunities.
Long-term, this opportunity will lead to a place in the Senior Management team, helping decide the scope and direction of the business moving forward.
To be considered, you will most likely be from a property and construction background, with experience in project management of new builds and extensions in a commercial setting. Ultimately though, this skillset will only form the grounding for this extensive and far-reaching position – with a business of this size you will need to be involved in each and every facet of the company, liaising with new and existing businesses on the premises, leases and tenants etc.
