Building Maintenance Surveyor

Permanent | Full-time, 35 hours per week

£26,000-£30,000 plus £5,500 car allowance

An exciting new vacancy has arisen for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic person with recent experience in the construction industry, keen to get involved in helping look after a varied property portfolio.

You will be part of a small team responsible for the delivery of all built environment maintenance and compliance of a wide variety of property throughout the Eastern District of the Duchy of Cornwall Estate which stretches from Kent to Carmarthenshire and Dorset to Nottinghamshire. 

Based at the Bath Office, you will be responsible for the supervision of the cyclical repair and maintenance of a range of residential, agricultural and commercial properties; you will organise refurbishment and improvement works including some new build and will carry out inspection and management of contractor’s work along with ensuring compliance across the portfolio.
