Chartered Building Surveyor job Wakefield or Leeds

This consultancy offers a variety of services including project and cost management as well as building surveying. They operate across the public and private sector working with international and local organisations.
Your new role
You will be focused on excellence in service delivery and client satisfaction, liaising closely with Partners, Associates, Team Leaders and colleagues. This will include the development and care of client relationships and providing a premier service. Responsibilities include:
- Take responsibility for the delivery of projects (generally ranging from £100K - £2M) and professional assignments and/or support the senior colleagues in the delivery of larger projects / assignments.
- Provide sound and reasoned technical and professional advice to clients or internal stakeholders relating to the Building Surveying scope of services, which will include:
- Design and specification
- Contract administration
- Party wall matters
- Technical due diligence (TDD) and surveys, including for pre-acquisition, stock condition, validation and building defect/pathology purposes
- Assist with the development of Building Surveying services, responding to market opportunities.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have completed a Building Surveying degree with a background in commercial property, both survey and project workloads. Ideally you will be chartered, MRICS, or about to sit your APC. You will be a team player who is motivated to progress their career. You will be solution focused and have the ability to lead on challenging projects.
